When hearing aids dont meet all your hearing needs, special devices are available. Examples of assistive listening devices are TV Ears, telephones, FM transmitters, infrared systems, and alerting devices.

Evaluation of hearing by using pure tones for air and bone (nerve) conduction. Testing is also included for reception and comprehension of speech. Middle ear analysis is also obtained to access function of the eardrum. This will assist in the final diagnosis.

Assessment of maximum hearing levels for comfort and discomfort of pure tones and speech. This provides information for an optimal sound quality fitting. Hearing Aid selection of the type and style to be worn is also completed at this time. Impressions of the ear are taken to assure a comfortable custom hearing aid experience.

Several manufactures are sold by HHCsf to include Widex, Oticon, Starkey, GN Resound, Unitron and Beltone. Selection of manufacture is based on each patients unique hearing needs while keeping in mind budget requirements.

Repairs and Recasting of ALL manufacture hearing aids is provided.

Financing of hearing aids is available. The patient must meet eligibility established by a bank.

Impressions for custom protective devices are offered to include industrial usage, communications monitors, swim plugs and other recreational usage. Special Musician filters are also provided. (picture) Musician monitors are also offered (picture). Also, canal style ear plugs can be used for a comfortable night sleep and comfort in a noisy urban environment.
